**Department Overview**:
The Platforms team is a dynamic, innovative, and diverse group of professionals with a Canada-wide mandate to provide partnership, challenge, and support to businesses spanning various customer and business platforms We continuously partner effectively with our Risk and Control partners and offer guidance, advice, and support to businesses to help them achieve their strategic goals and priorities while acting within Risk Appetite and in compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Incident Management, including Root Cause Analysis, PIR support, remediation tracking and closure
- Executive Platform Risk Reporting
- Key Indicator (KI) Reporting
- 2nd Line Assessments and Reviews (Annual and Ad-Hoc)
- ORM Programs; including pRCSA, Quality Control Testing, Internal and External Loss Events and reporting - ILED/ELED, Scenario Analysis, monitoring
- Compliance Programs; including Regulatory Compliance Management RCM Program; Creating, Maintaining, Updating, and Testing Regulatory Inventory; Compliance Reportable Incidents and Events, including Regulatory reporting to FCAC
- Compliance Testing
- AML Testing
- Management, Tracking and/or Resolution of key operational (non-tech) risks and findings;
- Audit & GAML Compliance findings
- Regulatory Findings and Assessments
- Audit Findings and Assessment
- Issues Management
- Exam /Audit Management Tracking
- 1B Mandate non-change activities
- Manage 1B reporting program to ensure effective oversight and management of all Key Risk Indicators;
- Deliver key metrics reporting, own controls inventory and management of ongoing risks
- Assist in the development of Key Indicators (KI) and related thresholds
- Ensure compliance with broader policies by completing required assessments, gathering and reviewing appropriate evidence, and finalizing deliverables within prescribed timelines.
- Support change management activities for any upcoming regulatory changes, including conducting impact assessments, socializing regulatory changes, developing requirements, etc.
- Maintain and manage Risk & Audit Dashboards and related reporting to provide a 360° view of risk across Platforms.
- Assist in preparation of presentations to management on emerging risk and compliance trends, initiatives, or relevant regulatory matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder groups including (not limited to) Audit, Finance, Compliance, GAML, and Risk Management.
- Coordinate Audit engagements, ensuring appropriate stakeholders are involved, monitoring progress, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, report on and escalate key issues as required.

**Requirements**:

- Seasoned professional with over 7 years of relevant risk domain experience (operational risk management, reputational, people risk, fraud/AML, etc)
- Deep knowledge of technology and business principles, and experience with technology risk management
- Strong critical thinking and risk management skills
- Experience communicating with and presenting to senior level executives.
- Relationship Management skills and the ability to effectively negotiate outcomes.
- Thirst for knowledge with a solid geeky interest in all things Digital/Technology.
- Experience working within an Agile environment.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within a highly demanding environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow up on items or determine appropriate steps for timely resolution; execute with speed and impact
- Aptitude for working within ambiguity; Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think outside the box.
- Previous experience in a systems administration role an asset.
- Technology Risk Management Certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISA, CCSP, Security +, MS Azure or other similar certifications would be a strong asset
- Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in the Financial services sector
