**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Monday to Friday, _7:00 am - 4:00 pm_

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide service to walk-in customers.
- Answers customer questions pertaining to price and product. Supplies customer with relevant information. Provides alternatives and suggestions when appropriate.
- Calls customers for additional details and/or to give them the availability of special products and/or the replacement.
- Provides quotes to customers using computer system as needed.
- Makes regular phone calls to specific customers when required.
- Transcribes all non-stock material in order for the purchasing dept. to order the material.
- Follow-up on direct shipments from suppliers to customers to ensure billing to customer is timely.
- Responsible for picking and packing orders generated as required.
- Assists in loading product into customer vehicles’ as required.
- Provides support to the Shipping and Receiving departments as required.
- Executes all other duties required by the position or by the immediate supervisor.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience related to Inside Sales
- Knowledge of plumbing and/or heating supply, an asset
- Customer-focused, good interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication in English
- Previous experience with AS400 software, an asset
- Previous forklift experience and/or current forklift certification, an asset
- Good mathematical knowledge
- Ability to produce precise work under pressure
- Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving
