**Job Details**:
UPS is currently looking for Part-time Warehouse Associates at our **Vars** location.

**Must be able to work up to 25 hours per week.**
- Job Classifications: Part-time Warehouse
- Job Type: Permanent/Hourly
- Workdays: Monday - Fridays (Must be able to work all 5 days)
- Scheduled Shift: Start time as early as 3pm.
- Shift averages 3-5 hours a day, but hours, start times/finish times may vary with operational need.
- Local Sorters are responsible for the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages in the center.
- Orientation day will be at _2281 Stevenage Drive,_ _Ottawa_ for **1 day only.**

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to follow set procedures
- Ability to lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted
- Able to work with automated conveyor belts and manual rollers
- Comfortable working inside container trailers, delivery trucks or similar equipment
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding and temperature changing warehouse environment
- Must be able to work with and recognize postal codes, routing charts and maps

**Résumé du poste**:
UPS est à la recherche de préposés à l’entrepôt pour ses installations de Vars. Les préposés à l’entrepôt s’occupent de charger, décharger, trier et numériser les colis dans le centre.

**Classification d’emploi**: Entrepôt, temps partiel

**Type d’emploi**: Permanent, à taux horaire

**Journées de travail**: Lundi au vendredi (vous devez pouvoir travailler 5 jours par semaine)

**Quart prévu**: Débute à 15 h 00

Le préposé à l’entrepôt travaille 3 à 5 heures par jour, mais le nombre d’heures travaillées, ainsi que les heures de début et de fin de quart peuvent varier selon les besoins opérationnels.

**Doit être capable de travailler jusqu'**à 25 heures par semaine.***

**Connaissances requises**
- Apte à suivre les procédures établies.
- Apte à soulever des charges pouvant atteindre jusqu’à 70 lb (32 kg).
- Apte à travailler avec des convoyeurs automatisés ou convoyeurs à rouleaux manuels.
- Être à l’aise de travailler à l’intérieur de remorques, de camions de livraison et d’autres équipements semblables.
- Être polyvalent et détenir de bonnes aptitudes organisationnelles.
- Être apte à travailler dans un milieu où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide, où la température peut varier, et être en mesure d’effectuer un travail exigeant sur le plan physique.
