**Job Purpose**:
Reporting to the Group Product Manager, Marketing, the Technical Product Owner, Web Experience will hold a dual role that combines product management and team leadership. In this dynamic position, you'll be responsible for defining product vision and strategy, prioritizing features, and leading a subset of the Agile Scrum team towards successful product outcomes.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Ensure team priority backlog and strategic effectiveness
- Strategic Visioning: Craft and share a compelling product vision, aligning it with our mission to uplift vulnerable communities. Your strategic foresight will shape digital experiences that touch hearts and inspire action.
- Team Leadership: Go beyond managing - lead, mentor, and inspire a subset of our Agile team. In regular one-on-ones, you'll nurture talents and foster a culture where every idea is valued, and every team member feels empowered.
- Product Development: Prioritize features, manage the backlog, and work cross-functionally to turn ideas into impactful digital products. Your decisions will directly influence the ease with which our supporters connect with those in need.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Be the voice of the product. Share progress, gather feedback, and maintain a transparent dialogue with stakeholders. Your communication skills will bridge gaps and build strong, collaborative relationships.
- Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve in technology and humanitarian trends. Lead initiatives to refine our processes, always seeking ways to do more good, more efficiently.
- Release Planning: Plan and coordinate product releases, including defining release goals, managing dependencies, and ensuring that releases meet quality standards and timelines.
- Metrics and KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital products. Use data and feedback to make data-driven decisions and improvements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that digital products meet high-quality standards, are thoroughly tested, and are aligned with the organization's values and goals.
- Product Vision: Understand the Marketing team needs and translate into a roadmap, backlog, and technical requirements.
- Cross-functional management: Work with Digital and IT teams to deliver desired functionality and remove roadblocks as they arise.
- Vendor Management: Manage contractors and oversee development resources to ensure that maximum value is delivered for World Vision Canada
- Training and Technical Evangelist: Document and train stakeholders on use of technology, striving to empower them to harness the technology themselves.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding various technology stacks and how to make the most use of them effectively for the organization, and teaching others.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science etc. OR equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with minimum of 4 years in digital product development
- Strong understanding of Lean Agile Scrum principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in product management tools and software (Product Plan, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro etc.)
- Ability to manage financials and strategic execution (budgets, ROIs, resource allocation and multiple concurrent projects)
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification. - An asset.
