**Site Manager, Manufacturing (95277)**

**Location: Regina, SK**

**Where the Chemistry Happens**:
As the Site Manager, you will provide leadership, direction, and focus for all manufacturing activities at the Regina Agricultural Products (AP) Manufacturing site. This includes, EH&S, Operations (Production and Maintenance), Operational Excellence, Technical, and oversight of all capital projects necessary to support AP growth plans.

This position requires a very strong focus on people development, operational excellence, continuous improvement culture, cost control/-management to keep the site competitive and quality improvement. In addition, the Site Manager must maintain strong business relations, community relations as well as strong relations with government entities involved in permitting and overall license to operate.

**Formula for Success: You Will**:

- Lead the Site Team to excellence in EHS performance, manufacturing capability, as well as meeting customer expectations in quality, service, and delivery.
- Drive a culture where continuous improvement, breakthrough performance, and an enjoyable work environment are expectations of all team members.
- Ensure compliance with BASF policies, regulations, and our values for safety, quality, environmental and financial stewardship.
- Identify and manage all operational risks including EHS, regulatory, quality, cost, equipment optimization and reliability.
- Develop and implement budget, objectives, personnel plans, inventory management, and capital plans that align with the strategic objectives of the AP business.
- Develop and implement manufacturing and asset strategies to ensure assets are aligned with business strategies in terms of reliable & flexible product availability.
- Interface with the business, customers, State and local agencies on BASF’s behalf and represent BASF’s interests.

**Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You**:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, agriculture, business, science, or related field of study.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in site leadership within manufacturing or plant operations ideally involved in change management with a proven track record of analyzing complex technical, operations and financial data to develop effective solutions.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the areas of maintenance, continuous improvement, operational excellence, environmental, health and safety and quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Solid working knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing site support systems.
- Demonstrated track record of manufacturing achievement in critical success areas.
- Familiarity in agricultural, chemical, or biological production operations would be an asset.
