We're looking for a talented and experienced **Vice President, **Pr**oduction.**

The** Vice President, Production** is responsible for managing all productions at the studio and those commissioned externally. You will focus the studio’s efforts on creating engaging storytelling and inspire the production teams to complete their work with the best available resources, at the highest creative production standards possible, on time and on budget.

**Responsibilities**
- Reporting directly to Frank Falcone, President and Executive Creative Director (Your “Supervisor”)
- Managing all Producers, Directors and the production teams to ensure all productions are produced at the highest creative level
- Maintaining and developing business relationships with production partners
- Supporting the Senior Management team to proactively build and strengthen current and future client partnerships
- Further developing production pipelines, tracking the current business climate and making necessary recommendations to ensure Guru remains an industry leader in the creation of children’s television
- Participating in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating divisional department activities to develop and implement long range goals to meet business growth objectives
- Supervising and managing cost reports
- Representing Guru internationally at key industry events, festivals, conferences and sales trips. Occasional international travel will be required
- Working with Talent Acquisition on the management of internal and external talent
- Supporting and promoting our company culture by creating a work environment that fosters creativity, innovation and high staff morale

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years in a Senior Producer role in animated television series production
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of animation project bidding, budgeting, production and physical media delivery and distribution
- Familiarity with Canadian film and television tax credits and industry employment regulations
- Understanding of Shotgun or similar asset management system
- Exceptional leadership and motivational abilities
- Approachable demeanor and ability to problem solve interpersonal and systemic issues
