**Description**
This position reports to the Principal Investigator (Dr. Julie Drolet), and will work collaboratively with members of the partnership, including Working Groups, Student Teams, and Advisory Committees.
The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of the partnership involving social work students, faculty, field coordinators/directors, and partners. Given multiple simultaneous deadlines throughout the study timeline, the work requires the management of competing interests with excellent outcomes. Therefore, the position requires an individual with excellent project management skills. Attention to detail is required.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management of the partnership by coordinating multiple training, mentoring and research activities within three streams of the project. The Project Coordinator is responsible to coordinate, communicate, and develop positive relationships with co-investigators, students, collaborators, and partners in the project. This position reports to the Principal Investigator and will support project management office functions that includes drafting documents, financial management (including sub-grant transfers and student stipends), planning and coordinating meetings, budget tracking, and project governance. This position will also coordinate partnered research training initiatives, and knowledge mobilization activities. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible to support with hiring and supervision of student research assistants. The Project Coordinator will ensure that project deadlines and activities are met for reporting.
**Summary of Key Responsibilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):
- Under the direction of the Principal investigator, provide a key support role in the development of project planning, implementation, and evaluation activities including recruitment of students, field instructors, and other study participants.
- Manage, assist and coordinate research related activities.
- Prepare and submit study documents to the ethic boards.
- Assist in developing training modules, participatory research modules, presentations and publications.
- Assist in identifying promising and innovative practices in social work field education with the research team.
- Develop and maintain a data repository of promising practices, modules, and other research related materials.
- Assist/coordinate in planning and organizing interviews and focus group discussions.
- Coordinating role with field instructors, students and faculty within the project.
- Engage with partner organizations and coordinate opportunities for partner research training initiatives.
- Liaise with all research team members, partner organizations, members, sponsors, and other collaborators.
- Guide and mentor RAs and Post-doctoral fellows in project related activities such as recruitment, data collection, analysis and writing for reports and publications.
- Keep electronic records of all study material including protocols, informed consent forms, questionnaires, renewals, modifications, and other related documents.
- Handle copyright issues of various research deliverables.
- Provide support in coordination, planning, logistics and promotion of additional project related initiatives as needed on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and provide support at all project related events and activities as needed.
- Advising and initiating appropriate changes to process to ensure project success.
- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget to ensure compliance with funding regulations and project deliverables such as developing training modules, digital story telling initiatives, sustainable social work field education models.
- Collaborate with the study investigators to perform and complete relevant parts of the study, such as arranging meetings, scheduling, and obtaining project deliverables.
- Assist in writing reports and other project deliverables.
- Provide promotional information about project activities (e.g., publications, presentations, incentives, awards, etc.) to appropriate team members for recognition on social media, newsletter, and/or website.
- Manage and coordinate additional activities as needed, such as production of digital story telling videos, highlighting student work, articles or other promotional material.
- Support with social media and website updates and posts.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for the Training Program, including speakers, room bookings, webinar technologies, learner support, evaluations, and reporting.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for project webinars and events.
- Collaborate with approximately 39 stakeholders including universities, and other partnering agencies involved in the project.
