**Summary/Objective**
This position will provide support and information, primarily accounting and financial in nature, about all company activities thatwill assist operations management, the Regional Vice Presidents and Directors of Operations and other field users in making educated economic decisions about the business' future. In addition, you will provide oversight and help manage the budget and forecasting process for the regions, provide a fiscal strategy in alignment with the goals of the organization and liaison with corporate departments with regards to any accounting and budgetary topics that may arise. **This position will report directly to the Director, Operations Finance and will dotted Line to RVP of Region. You will be required to travel up to 25% of the time.**The position pays $100,000 - $105,000 with up to 20% bonus potential.**Must live within driving distance and will be required to work out of one of the airports below:

**Essential Functions**
- Oversee the month end close cycle including Scrub Calls, Scrub Reviews, Revenue recognition, preparation of revenue and expenses and GL review
- Guide and assist with the activities of field accounting and/or finance department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external financial statements, audits and budgets, and do so according to the SSP Policies and Procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and the Uniform System of Accounts.
- Respond to Director, Operations Finance, Regional Vice President of Operations, as well as corporate departments, as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate their financial needs.
- Conduct in depth analysis for financial opportunities within each category of the P&L. Work with large amounts of data to form standard reporting tools for operations teams
- Assist field operations management in the Onboarding & Training of branch accounting personnel
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner. Engage in critical and confidential aspects of accounting
- Advise management on matters of fiscal procedure and importance for the organization Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization
- Work closely with IT staff to attain accurate and necessary reporting from systems
- Oversee and/or provide detailed reporting and analyses of monthly financial information to include revenue and cost variances and trend analysis
- Ensure that Pension, Union dues, and Healthcare reporting is provided in accordance with applicable deadlines and established processes.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**Required Education/Experience**
- BA in Accounting, Economics or Finance preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on accounting or finance managerial experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Knowledge of industry technology tools such as QuickBooks Ability and flexibility to work in a fast
- paced environment
- Dynamic and positive attitude to support our culture and work environment Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, and follow up skills Highly analytical, perceptive, and with sound judgment
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks, effectively prioritize assigned job duties, and meet deadlines Flexibility to support various operations work activities during busy seasons
- Service oriented approach is essential to support all team members
