**Responsibilities**:
Production Planning and Scheduling:

- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Collaborate with the production team and other stakeholders to ensure timely availability of materials and resources required for production.
- Analyze production requirements, lead times, and constraints to create feasible and optimized production schedules.

Capacity Management:

- Monitor and analyze production capacities, identifying potential bottlenecks or constraints that could impact production timelines.
- Implement strategies to maximize production capacity utilization and minimize idle time.

Inventory Management:

- Work closely with the production team to ensure appropriate levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods are available to meet production requirements.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory to avoid stockouts.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

- Monitor production performance against established targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Prepare regular reports on production progress, efficiency, and any potential issues or delays.

Communication and Coordination:

- Foster effective communication among different departments, including production, quality control, maintenance, and management, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated manufacturing process.
- Notify relevant stakeholders of any changes in production schedules or potential delays.

Adherence to Safety and Quality Standards:

- Ensure production activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proven experience in manufacturing production planning and scheduling.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
