The Opportunity.
We are currently looking for an Administrative Clerk to join and support our Examination team. In this role, you will work with your team to help handle the day-to-day workflow of the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate, or someone looking to begin a career in professional services.

Responsibilities.
- Enter due dates and other information into the file management system.
- Process and review incoming electronic and physical Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) correspondence
- Prepare and report payment submissions for examination and issue fees, including invoices to clients.
- Perform general administrative tasks including preparation of billings.
- Interacting with,CIPO, agents, lawyers, and other team members
- Other duties may be assigned or amended as required

Qualifications, competencies and experience.
- One year of administrative or office experience
- Post-secondary education
- A great team player with excellent attention to detail
- A strong ability to prioritize a large workload
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and proactive
- High proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software and technology quickly

The salary for this role will be positioned between $40,000 - $55,000 taking into consideration factors such as location, job-related knowledge, prior experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
