**What we are seeking**:
This position involves working shifts in two different homes in East Vancouver.

S lives in his own apartment near Broadway & Nanaimo St. He enjoys spending time out each day taking part in activities that involve people, music and positive energy He lives with visual impairment and spastic cerebral palsy and needs full assistance with all of his personal care and daily living needs. His mother lives in the same building complex and plays a major role in his life.

S has 24-hour support provided by a team of dedicated staff. We're looking for a few more staff to join the team

**Reports to**: Manager

**Probation**:3 Months

**Preferred Training or Experience**:
Successful applicants will have some prior experience supporting people with personal care and complex health care. Full training is provided specific to the needs of each young man and includes medication administration, seizure tracking, tracheostomy care, lifts/transfers, and tube feeding. We are seeking applicants who are physically strong, energetic, self confident and fun

Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and spoken) is a must.

**Specific Training or Experience Required**:RCA or LPN background is preferred

**Expected Hours of Work**:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift

- Weekends as needed
