Manutentionnaire / Material Handler

**Material Handler - evening shift**

Montebello Packaging needs a Material Handlerto serve the laminated tube production lines. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving supervisor, this position will handle, moves, loads and unloads material by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment. It is important to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

**Work schedule **:Evening shift (3pm - 11pm)

**Principal responsibilities may include**:

- Loads and unloads product (hazardous and non-hazardous) both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. (Cycle Counts)
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. (Staging)
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies. (Line Calls)
- Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock. (wip inventory - Cycle Counts)
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Verifies quantities of product shipments
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs. ( All maintaining equipment)
- Maintains the workplace and warehouse in a neat, clean and orderly condition (All)
- Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities. (All)
- Coordinates and organizes the handling, storage and removal of waste and hazardous material.
- Operates a variety of equipment, such as mechanical balers, material crusher, conveyor belts, etc. (All)
- May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials (All)
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Functions of this job _requires_ regular and _punctual_ employee presence.
- Other duties as assigned, inside or outside the normal work area or department.

**Qualifications (education & experience)**:

- Completion of Secondary School required or equivalent
- Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in Warehouse required.

Relevant du superviseur de l'expédition/réception, ce poste manipulera, déplacera, chargera et déchargera le matériel à la main ou en utilisant une variété d'équipements de manutention. Il est important de pouvoir soulever jusqu'à 50 livres. régulièrement.

**Les responsabilités principales peuvent inclure**:

- Charge et décharge les produits (dangereux et non dangereux) manuellement ou avec des équipements tels que des chariots élévateurs et des transpalettes.
- Maintient l'inventaire en identifiant, en étiquetant et en plaçant les matériaux et fournitures en stock ; emplacement d'enregistrement de l'inventaire. (Nombre de cycles)
- Localise les matériaux et les fournitures en extrayant et en vérifiant les matériaux et les fournitures répertoriés sur les ordres de production. (Mise en scène)
- Maintient l'inventaire en cours dans les centres de travail en livrant les matériaux et les fournitures. (Appels de ligne)
- Reçoit le matériel et les fournitures de retour de crédit de la production en vérifiant le code des matériaux et des fournitures, ainsi que le numéro de lot et la quantité ; mise en stock des matériaux. (Inventaire wip - inventaires cycliques)
