**Job description**

The Containerwest group is recruiting a Director of IT to lead and manage our Digital Transformation.

You possess a broad range of IT skills and experiences and are ready for this opportunity to make a difference and deliver our vision

You are comfortable taking responsibility for all aspects of IT management. This includes new implementations, management and maintenance of all existing hardware, software, security and network components.

This role requires strong skills in leadership, planning and technical expertise to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

Reporting to the CFO you will be a member of the senior management team.

**Qualifications**

A degree in Information Technology or related field.

10+ years of relevant experience at increasing levels of responsibility.

Extensive experience leading successful installations, including a CRM.

Strong knowledge of IT principles, practices and emerging technologies.

A self-starter and thought leader for IT that is expected to bring ideas forward for consideration.

As a member of the senior management team exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Willingness to work in both BC and Alberta.
