Shift: 4 days on / 3 Days off. Monday through Thursday ( living on site) Friday through Sunday off.

**Summary**: The primary role of this position is to manage the Quality assurance and /Quality Control-Food Safety program(s). This includes maintaining documentation regarding HACCP,SOP’s, and employee training. The Food services supervisor will ensure required daily food production levels and product quality are both met and surpassed while maintaining food and labor budgets.

Essential duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:

- Lead the food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation program.
- Conduct daily and weekly internal audits of the entire food services operations.
- Conduct, Maintain, and Document employee training procedures.
- Maintain, audit, and improve costs control measures such as waste reduction, and labor efficiencies.
- Assist with daily food production preparation and fill in during unexpected vacancies or absences of full time Front of house or kitchen staff.
- Oversee offloading of food provisions to ensure critical control measures and best practices are adhered to i.e. Continuous Cold chain, FIFO, Product Quality, etc..
- Oversee Food purchasing, Paper and Clean, Small wares items, and inventory cost controls.
- Makes recommendations to the AMIK unit manager on any necessary counseling, disciplining or termination of food service department staff.
- Ensures that Safety is a top priority and that all company health and safety policies are strictly followed and adhered to by all food service department staff.

**Education / Qualifications**
- High School / GED
- Associated Culinary Arts certificate, diploma or degree and or food services Management training.
- Canadian Red Seal trade qualification - Cook.
- 5 years minimum experience in Restaurant/ Hotel Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recent experience as an Executive chef or as a sous chef in a large/high volume cooking capacity.
- Broad and thorough knowledge of food and cooking techniques
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, and spreadsheets.
- Advanced Food Safety Certification (AFST) or successful completion immediately upon hire.
- Must be able to complete and pass: Company medical, Drug and alcohol testing, and Criminal background check.
- Ability to promote a positive safety culture by communicating and consulting with all disciplines within the workforce and management on a daily basis.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
