To be successful in this role, the Controller must possess strong interpersonal skills as well as technical knowledge. This individual must also maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- **Key Responsibilities (the position)**:_
- Assist the Group Controller to prepare all internal monthly reports
- Assist the Group Controller to prepare external accountant prepared annual financial statements package.
- Assist the Group Controller with the accounting function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Help maintain controls over financial reporting to ensure complete separation of duties and appropriate review
- Manage and support the in-house payables department to ensure completeness and accuracy of all payments and requirements
- Assist with the payroll processes, including payroll calculations, deductions, and tax with holdings. Work together with the internal HR department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
- Assist with treasury and cash management functions
- Identify areas for process improvement (including internal controls) within the accounting department and develop and implement the same
- Assist the Group Controller and CFO with other projects as required.
- **Desired qualifications and experience**:_
- 7+ years’ experience in a Finance / Accounting Department clearly proving increasing levels of responsibility.
- Degree or College Diploma from a recognized institution.
- CPA Designation
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload
- Demonstrate understanding of the monthly reporting cycle
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
