Job Summary:
You will work closely with horses to develop their skills and behaviors through positive reinforcement techniques.

**Duties**:

- Train horses using positive reinforcement techniques to perform specific tasks or behaviors
- Develop training plans and programs tailored to each animal's abilities and needs
- Provide care and ensure the well-being of young horses during training sessions
- Monitor and evaluate horse behavior and progress, making adjustments to training methods as needed
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, progress, and any behavioral issues
- Collaborate with other trainers or handlers to coordinate training efforts and ensure consistency in training methods
- Assist with the preparation of horses for shows, including grooming, feeding, and exercise routines

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of animal behavior and learning principles
- Patience and compassion when working with young horses
- Excellent communication skills to convey instructions and commands clearly
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of working with animals, including heavy lifting if required
- Mechanical knowledge for operating farm machinery if applicable
