**SALARY: $28.803 - $36.004**

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Health Information, the Finance Associate will be an integral member of our fast-paced analytical team. The incumbent will perform a range of accounting activities including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliation and various other analysis as well as generate and structure clinical and financial data from existing sources both internal and external so it is ready for analysis. Proficiency in Excel is a must.

This position will work closely with the Finance analytical Support team and support the analysts within their portfolios.

**HOURS**:
Monday to Friday, 37.50 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work when required to meet deadlines.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- College diploma in areas such as Accounting; Finance; is required;
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience within Health Information or Finance department, in a healthcare setting;
- Ability to multitask with different priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adhere to both internal and external deadlines.
- Experience with MOHLTC/LHIN reporting, MIS Guidelines (MIS level I), preferred
- High proficiency using Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills;
- Logical and efficient, with a keen attention to detail;
- Highly self-directed and able to make decisions;
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks through highly developed time management skills;
- Team player possessing high integrity, confidence and maturity with a proven ability to initiate and develop relationships with partners and other stakeholders;
- Excellent attendance record in accordance with STEGH’s Attendance at Work Program
- Demonstrated acceptable performance record in alignment with STEGH's Mission, Vision, Values and Code of Conduct
