**Job responsibilities include but aren’t limited to the following**:
- Leading field programs such as vegetation, wetlands, wildlife, fisheries and soils. Technical discipline specialty experience would be considered an asset.
- Summarizing, evaluating, and reporting on field assessments.
- Planning and coordinating logistics of environmental field studies.
- Working with a large multi-disciplinary team to execute projects and meet client expectations.
- Assisting Project Managers with tasks such as monthly project and budget update summaries, preparation of meeting minutes, scheduling and coordinating field programs.
- Supporting preparation of proposals and workplans.
- Adhering to and enforcing corporate Safety, Health and Environment protocols and AECOM’s quality control program.
**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**
- Degree in Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Geological Sciences or related field and is a registered professional (or qualified to become a registered professional) in Alberta.
- 4+ years of experience of demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education as an environmental consultant, industry representative, or related industry.
- Valid driver’s license.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 4+ years experience in environmental consulting
- Strong knowledge and field experience in wetlands, vegetation and/or wildlife.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable with liaising with clients, colleagues and sub-contractors alike
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized, and strong quality and time management
- Highly motivated and willingness to learn new tasks
- Experience in a technical discipline such as vegetation, wetlands, wildlife, fisheries or soils would be considered an asset
