Electronics Technician

St Catharines, Canada SHARK MARINE TECHNOLOGIES Full time

You will work as part of our team working with experienced technologists and engineers in the electronics department on a number of projects and designated in-plant duties. Electronics assembly, data collection, test, troubleshoot, and repair of production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems.

**Responsibilities**
- Production and assembly of quality products, paying close attention to detail.
- Perform electronic repairs, surface mount and through hole soldering, and cable splicing.
- Setting up test apparatus, working with test equipment and circuitry to conduct functionality and testing.
- Performing evaluation tests for reliability and quality of prototypes or production models.
- Analyze and interpret test data, adjust, calibrate, align and modify equipment and components, recording effects and results.
- Writing technical reports and developing charts, graphs and schematics to describe and illustrate systems operating characteristics, malfunctions and deviations from design specifications and functional limitations for consideration by engineers.
- May operate bench lathes, drills, and other machinery or hand tools for fabrication.
- May be required to do field testing.
- Should be comfortable on boats and around water.
- **Qualifications**:

- 2 year diploma or work experience equivalent.

- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Ability to multitask effectively and have good time management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
