**Sales & Marketing Specialist (Consumer Goods)**

Our client, a rapidly growing **Consumer Goods** - **Confectionery **company, located in **Langley, BC** is looking to hire a **Sales & Marketing Specialist** to join their team on a **Permanent, Full-time basis.**

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Sales & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working cross-functionally with account managers, procurement, creative, marketing, and external vendors to assist with a multitude of tasks across sales and marketing.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Sales**
- Assist with sales projects including private label product management and branded projects
- Manage weekly sales & forecasting meetings; including capturing minutes, next steps, and managing timelines
- Fill out customer new product forms and assist in promotional planning
- Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists

**Marketing**
- Proof and sign off on packaging content and design
- Update catalogues, flyer designs, and creation of any marketing content as needed
- Manage and update website with relevant content
- Drive market research efforts including but not limited to customer purchasing behavior and channel feedback
- Develop appropriate messaging for presentations and promotion materials
- Gather and communicate channel, market, customer or competitive information and intelligence and assist the team on strategy and pricing functions
- Analyze data and share key market insights on customer and brand performance
- Collaborate on developing and deploying pitch ideas; and present ideas to promote the company brand or marketing campaigns in new ways

**EDUCATION**:

- Post Secondary Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or any relevant field

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2 -3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing from the consumer-packaged goods industry
- Digital marketing, social media, and direct to consumer or Amazon experience, an asset
- Advanced use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
