**Job Overview**:
The HSE Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs. This includes handling administrative duties related to new employee orientations, training coordination, safety documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**New Employee Orientations and HR Support**:

- Contact new employees to provide orientation details.
- Process documentation, including TD1 and TD1BC forms, personal information forms, and the New Hire Orientation form.
- Administer New Hire Orientation Training for both office and field employees.
- Explain the union sign-up package and assist hourly employees with the enrollment process.
- Scan and upload all orientation paperwork and maintain the orientation log on.
- Coordinate and perform Fit Tests as required.
- Create Salus Pro accounts for new employees and upload relevant certificates.
- Explain the company’s employee benefits program to new hires.
- Update and maintain orientation PowerPoint presentations.

**Training and Development**:

- Set up courses as requested by the HSE Advisor, Superintendent, or Project Manager.
- Administer and maintain accurate training records, providing updates on the training log.
- Ensure all employees are up to date with Fit Tests, certifications, and other related training.
- Create and maintain a training calendar monthly.

**Safety Meetings and Documentation**:

- Assist in organizing safety meetings and take minutes as required.
- Scan, file, and organize hardcopies of completed forms on the server, including.

**Salus Pro Management**:

- Add new workers and upload certificates into the Salus Pro system after orientation sessions.
- Perform daily downloads of all submitted documents, file them and monitor submission activity.
- Identify and address instances where foremen are not fully utilizing the Salus Pro app to ensure compliance with safety reporting procedures.

**Administrative Support**:

- Maintain daily logs and ensure that all safety documentation is organized and accessible.
- Support the HSE team with any other administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of HSE processes and compliance initiatives.

**Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in an HSE administrator or similar role.
- Familiarity with HSE regulations and best practices.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with HSE management software and systems (e.g., Salus Pro, eRail) is highly preferred.

Pay: $24.15-$26.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
