Seeking an organized, conscientious administrative assistant. This individual will provide clerical and administrative support to the Department Supervisor, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. They will also provide support with incoming inquiries, billing processes, data entry, and maintenance of databases.
Job Responsibilities:
Meets the administrative needs of department management and staff members. Coordinates department specific programs or meetings as assigned: planning, preparation of materials, implementation and evaluation. Composes business documents as assigned. Independently creates correspondence such as follow up to meetings, response to employees etc. Assures appropriate resources are available for staff to be successful in their role. Maintains a calendar for staff availability and schedules. Identifies and implements improvements in office efficiencies.
Qualifications and Characteristics
Comfort with technology and a deep reservoir of patience to kindly assist those who do not share this experience. Ability to work independently and proactively to support a thriving and high-performing team with staff and partners across the country. Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and ability to handle highly visible responsibilities where people are counting on a great show-up. Excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills with the ability to quickly aggregate and analyze information; flexible and able to multi-task, with demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities. Solid communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
