**Your primary responsibilities will include**:
IT Specialist with expertise in cloud technologies, Office 365 administration, Microsoft platforms, server management, and hardware infrastructure. Responsible for supporting and optimizing our IT systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency. Deploy, maintain, and enhance our technology infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
- Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Configure and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and other cloud services.
- Monitor cloud performance and resource utilization, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, or equivalent certifications.
- Support and maintain on-premises Microsoft server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server. Configure and manage server roles, features, and services to meet business requirements.
- Implement security patches, updates, and backup strategies to ensure system integrity and availability.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware, storage devices, and networking equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as hardware upgrades, firmware updates, hardware diagnostics, and collaborating with vendors with resolving hardware related issues.
- Administer the organization's Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other services.
- Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and policies within Office 365.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience of 5+ years in IT support roles, with a focus on cloud technologies, Office 365 administration, Microsoft platforms, servers, and hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Current Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
