**Web Services Support - Health Gateway**
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The consultant is expected to start as soon as possible and the contract length is 2 years
**Project Context**
Digital Health Innovation (DHI) delivers provincial digital health strategies and business transformations by relentlessly focusing on the end user and the end-to-end health services journey for everyone in British Columbia. We concentrate on the design and delivery of digital health tools and platforms to support the ongoing evolution of a connected health system and digitally enabled health care. By collaborating with all provincial health sector partners, we ensure an equitable approach to addressing health sector priorities.
DHI is part of the Provincial Digital Health & Information Services (PDHIS) portfolio that was formed in July 2022 to enable our BC health system more effectively digitally and virtually. PDHIS brings together many organizational units from different parts of PHSA into one portfolio and includes a close partnership with the Ministry of Health to deliver on the BC Digital Health Strategy.
The Health Gateway Project is a cross-sector initiative to solve a real problem for BC residents by providing individuals with a single view of their health information and services regardless of geographic location in the province. The Health Gateway project represents a patient-centered platform, driven by user centered design, to deliver a secure, unified and coordinated online entry point for access to health information and services over time.
**Service Required**
- The following services are in-scope for this Work Package:
- Support, monitor, and troubleshoot issues that occur with Health Gateway Web Services APIs and supporting infrastructure.
- General maintenance of Health Gateway Web Services APIs and supporting infrastructure.
- Develop minor enhancements to account for source system, API, and/or data changes that affect existing interactions with Health Gateway.
- Attend and participate in product sprint meetings.
- Develop and test product contributions during sprints that can be tested with citizens, customers and other intended users.
- Assist with primary user research.
- Participate in incremental testing required for minor enhancements as required by the project team’s testing plan.
**Consultant Qualifications**
The following are skill sets/experience that are required to deliver against this work:
- .Net, Vue, MS SQL, POSTGRES, Docker, MS Azure Technology Stack, BC OpenShift Stack
- Understanding of Pharmanet ODR interconnect / PIN / DIN registry
- Understanding of MSP Billing system interactions
- Deep understanding of existing HGW Integration Design / Patterns
- Understanding of KeyCloak, BSCC integration, and HGW Auth flows
- Extensive Scrum Master experience with technical facilitation skills as appropriate
- Extensive User Design and User Research experience with design and visualization skills as appropriate
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
**Salary**: Up to $65.00 per hour
