Faculty Position: Education
Tenure Track (Full Time)

appointment in our 2-year B.Ed. After Degree Program, beginning August 1, 2025. Our Christian identity
leads us to see education as a professional vocation shaped by hope. Our Elementary and Secondary
Education programs blend theory, reflective practice, engaging teaching, and extended student-teaching
practicums to inspire students to teach from the heart and from who they are as people. Students are
challenged to develop authentic connections between their faith and teaching practices. The emphasis on
active learning prepares students for the realities of collaborating with colleagues in school settings.

Our education program consistently receives strong reviews from students for the quality of education,
small class sizes, dedicated and expert faculty, and an opportunity to experience in-class teaching with the
longest continuing practicum for an after-degree program in Alberta.

We are seeking a new colleague with an academic background suitable for teaching in one of these areas:
exceptionalities and inclusive education, educational foundations, mathematics education, or secondary
language arts. We are committed to encouraging students to engage critically with worldviews that shape
education and to develop a conceptual framework for educational thinking and action which expresses
their foundational beliefs about the meaning of human life, stewardship, and sustainability.
