**Job Duties and responsibilities will include**:
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Instructional Coach will:

- act as a lead learner;
- support teachers with implementing Grasslands’ Instructional Framework for Exemplary Teaching;
- work collaboratively in classrooms with teachers and educational assistants;
- conduct staff learning and in-service training on topics including literacy and/or, numeracy, assessment and conceptual understanding;
- building capacity in teachers and administration with technology as it relates to instruction and assessment;
- assist in coaching and facilitating division-wide Learning Teams, school-based PLC’s, and providing in-service to teachers in school settings and division-wide groupings;
- support and coach teachers through instructional changes, to further develop inclusive, innovative practices & curriculum implementation; and,
- monitor, analyze & report division student achievement data to inform instruction and enhance learning.

**Education and Certifications**:

- Bachelor of Education
- pre-service teacher preparation program from an approved institution_
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certification
- Masters degree, in a relevant area, would be considered an asset_
