**What we’re hiring for**

We are looking to hire a Front of House Manager to help us operate, manage and grow all our FOH programs and teams. The Manager will report directly to the co-founder / executive chef. This role is responsible for all front of house operations including inventory control, process documents, beverage list curating and sourcing, team member training, scheduling, and meeting key performance indicators across all front of house operations. The manager must also motivate, guide and develop team members to ensure a professional, equitable and uplifting workplace culture that is aligned to our values. This role requires a commitment to leading, developing and creating a safe and equitable space for all races, religions, cultures, sexual orientations and gender identities. **Some of your tasks**:

- Working on the floor alongside your team, building relationships with the community and one another
- Managing restaurant procedures and protocols, including documentation
- Manage inventories, pars and ordering
- Be accountable to the performance metrics of the cafe, including P&L reports
- Help to roll out promotions or new initiatives
- Manage any event bookings or catering requests
- Coordinating equipment fixes and maintenance
- Willing to hold people accountable and have challenging conversations
- Scheduling, helping to find coverage
- Work well and understand the vision of the leadership group
- Support, grow and help each person on the team
- Be ready to respond to emergencies, shift coverages or other issues.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience with inventory control, kitchen human resources and menu costing
- Food handling certification and WSET training is an asset
- Maintaining a current Pro serve certification is mandatory for this position

**Schedule, Expectations and Compensation**
- Flexible availability
(44 hour work week though overtime may be required in special circum
