**Early Childhood Educator (Full-time/Casual) - Richmond, BC**
**YOUR IMPACT**:
- Supervise children and ensure equipment and physical environment is free of health and safety hazards.
- Encourage independence, problem solving skills, and active learning to build self-esteem in an inclusive and respectful environment.
- Demonstrate positive adult/child interaction using effective and appropriate communication with children.
- Provide meaningful feedback and information to parents/families regarding their child’s learning and development, emerging skills, interests and the purpose of activities.
- Liaise with other agencies and individuals to support children’s progress and success.
**YOUR CAPABILITIES**:
- Early Childhood Education Certificate with a minimum of one years’ experience working with children and families and children, including children with special needs.
- Post Basic Specials Needs certification and experience working with children with additional support needs is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to deliver inclusive programming with a sensitivity to people from diverse cultural, health and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Clear, current Criminal Records Check.
