Front of House responsibilities include educating customers on our pastries, baked goods and drink menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills, willing to learn, and be able to work various shifts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Excellent customer service while up-selling product promotions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea, and serve our pastries.
- Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure/fast paced environment
- Give customers menu recommendations and answer their questions regarding ingredients
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep front of house clean and presentable at all times; Comply with health and safety regulations
- Maintain stock availability (ex. Cups, paper towel)
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
- Assist with other tasks as needed

**Experience**:

- 1+ Year customer service or barista experience
- Previous work experience as a Barista/Front of House
- Customer service experience
- Fluent in English, additional languages would be an asset (Ex. Cantonese, Mandarin)
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment, not required but would be an asset
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma; relevant training will be provided

**Salary**: $16.55-18

**Additional Pay**:Tips

- 8 hour shift (Full Time)
- Day to Evening shift
- Monday to Sunday
