We are seeking a Process Support Analyst to join our team at the Power Systems Technology Centre (PTC), a department of
Manitoba Hydro International Ltd. PTC is a world leader in electrical power simulation, applied power systems analysis, and related
technologies. PTC develops and markets a variety of products, including PSCAD/EMTDC, a renowned power system simulation
software. PTC offers clients an experienced team of engineering professionals that have a wide range of experience in providing
solutions to the global power industry. PTC has leading experts in the field of HVAC and HVDC transmission who provide unique
expertise in engineering studies, equipment specifications, and maintenance and system operation.

the support, testing, and documentation of the Power System Technology Centre's (PTC) software products including user-driven
development proposals, quality assurance and control, departmental process documentation, and maintenance of product manuals.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Provide daily software-related support for the PTC family of products as per defined processes, such as installation and

initialization of the software on a variety of end-user PC configurations and operating systems. Although correspondence is

- Assist with the triaging of support queries, based on the status of customer maintenance contracts.
- Participate in the organization, maintenance, and development of all section-related help and process documentation,
- including product manual sets, new feature topics, and section quality control/assurance process documents.- Continuously consult with both clients and system developers to investigate, analyze, and advance solutions for product
- issues. Generate product bug tickets and development proposals, based on user feedback, as per departmental processes.- Execute quality assurance activities, simulating actual usage of software, including coordinating, and participating in testing
- brand new features, as well as new enhancements to existing products.- Assist with customer training courses when necessary.
- Consult with clients and system developers to investigate, analyze, and develop solutions for problems and enhancements.
- Document testing strategy and prepare detailed test case scenarios. Perform or assist in execution of testing activities
- simulating actual online and batch usage of software.- Lead, train, and mentor other members and provide standard process documentation.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A two-year diploma in a related discipline (Computer or Engineering Technology, or Information Technology) from an institute

of recognized standing plus a minimum of two years of directly related experience.
- A technical background in software development (including a familiarity with computer languages, such as C++, Fortran,

JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python), IT and/or the engineering industry, specifically power systems.
- Experience with the PSCAD electromagnetic transients software.

**Salary Range**

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $31.94-$44.18 Hourly,
$61,202.96-$84,652.88 Annually.
