**Job Overview**

All routes are local to the area and you are home every night.

**Duties**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, documenting mileage, delivery times, and any issues encountered.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Assist with inventory management as needed, including tracking shipments and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
- Other duties as required.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting of vehicle issues.
- Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is advantageous for handling various types of cargo.
- Strong understanding of freight logistics and transportation processes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.

This is primarily for a Propane truck, however we expect our drivers to be flexible and may also need to drive a cylinder truck or fuel truck.

**Working Conditions**:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk on unlevel ground and drive.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Drivers must be able to lift 45 pounds and carry a hose from the truck to the filling location.

Overtime availability required from time to time.

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 60 per week
