Le Centre canadien sur les dépendances et l’usage de substances (CCDUS) transforme des vies en mobilisant les gens et les connaissances afin de réduire les méfaits de l’alcool et d’autres substances sur la société. En partenariat avec des organismes publics et privés et des organisations non gouvernementales (ONG), il travaille à améliorer la santé et la sécurité des personnes vivant au Canada. Le CCDUS est une ONG d’envergure nationale dont la vision parle d’une société canadienne en santé dans laquelle les données probantes transforment les approches concernant la consommation de substances.

Le CCDUS reconnaît que les Premières Nations, les Métis et les Inuits sont les détenteurs du savoir traditionnel autochtone. Il respecte le pouvoir des modes de connaissance autochtones et du savoir traditionnel autochtone et s’engage à apprendre de ce savoir et à l’intégrer dans son travail, avec l’encadrement adéquat.

Le ou la titulaire aidera les employés du CCDUS à respecter et à comprendre les distinctions PNMI, y compris le savoir traditionnel autochtone ainsi que les principes et cadres de gouvernance qui le protègent, comme les principes de propriété, de contrôle, d’accès et de possession (PCAP) et les principes de propriété, de contrôle, d’accès et d’intendance (PCAI).

**Responsabilités et obligations de rendre compte**:

- Appuyer la mise en œuvre du cadre stratégique de partenariats autochtones, dans le respect des _appels à l’action de la Commission de vérité et réconciliation_, de la _Déclaration des Nations Unies sur les droits des peuples autochtones_, des principes PCAP, des principes PCAI et d’autres principes de gouvernance pertinents en lien avec les données et la recherche
- Entretenir des relations réciproques avec des communautés PNMI et des organisations nationales, notamment la Thunderbird Partnership Foundation, l’Assemblée des Premières Nations, le Ralliement national des Métis et Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les responsables des volets d’activités et les employés du CCDUS et avec des partenaires PNMI, et leur fournir des conseils stratégiques sur le déploiement de projets de recherche, de ressources et d’outils conçus avec des tiers
- Assister à des congrès nationaux et y favoriser l’engagement PNMI, dans le respect des protocoles PNMI, ainsi que des politiques et procédures du CCDUS
- Aider les employés du CCDUS à entretenir des relations réciproques avec des communautés et organisations PNMI, et à monter des projets de réconciliation significatifs
- Travailler avec les cadres et les employés du CCDUS pour s’assurer qu’ils effectuent leur travail dans un environnement qui reconnaît les effets de la colonisation et qui tient compte des circonstances qui ont causé d’importants troubles d’usage de substances chez les Autochtones
- Participer à l’organisation des rassemblements de réconciliation et proposer des idées stratégiques et créatives pour encourager les employés du CCDUS à se renseigner sur les communautés PNMI
- Travailler avec les responsables de volets d’activités, les employés et la division Qualité, risques et mesure du rendement pour établir des balises afin d’évaluer les progrès réalisés par le CCDUS vers la réconciliation et en assurer le suivi
- Travailler avec les responsables de volets d’activités et les employés du CCDUS, et avec des partenaires PNMI à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de plans de partenariats stratégiques de bout en bout, ainsi qu’à la création et à la tenue à jour de toute la documentation requise
- Communiquer avec un supérieur, au besoin, si des inquiétudes sont soulevées

**Qualifications**:

- Au moins deux ans d’expérience de travail avec des organisations nationales PNMI
- Diplôme collégial ou universitaire dans une discipline pertinente (p. ex. science, lettres et sciences humaines, santé et bien-être des Autochtones, administration de la santé, éducation des adultes) ou expérience équivalente dans la mobilisation des administrations, des communautés et des organisations PNMI
- Bonne compréhension des distinctions entre les PNMI
- Connaissance des organisations nationales PNMI et de leurs structures et processus de gouvernance
- Engagement envers les _appels à l’action de la Commission de vérité et de réconciliation_ et compréhension des effets persistants de la colonisation
