**Position Summary: Junior Draftsman/woman**

As a Junior Draftsman/woman at Upstream Data Inc, you will play a pivotal role in the development and preparation of engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from creating technical reports to ensuring that design drawings adhere to specifications and design data. **Job Duties**:

- Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from various data sources.
- Utilize computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations for design tasks.
- Generate design sketches and complete documentation packages.
- Verify design drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and design data.
- Produce technical reports to support design work.
- Assist in preparing conventional and CAD engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Address production issues promptly and support shop floor needs regarding manufacturing specifications.
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement teams when opportunities arise.
- Perform any other tasks and duties as required.

**Work Conditions**:

- Personal Protection Equipment may be required, including hard hats and safety boots.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying environmental conditions.
- Physical requirements include lifting, pushing, pulling, and good manual dexterity.
- Climbing ladders may be necessary, and exposure to loud noise is possible.
- A high level of stamina is required due to the demands of the manufacturing industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
