Lloydminster, AB - The Lloydminster Bobcats are looking to expand the hockey operations in the organization currently and are inviting applicants for the full-time position of Head Coach. The organization has continued to make significant progress on and off the ice over the course of the last five seasons. This progress has allowed for the hockey operations to continue to grow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and sustain an atmosphere that promotes success, player development and career progression.
- Conduct all on-ice camps, practices, development, games, and off ice activities.
- Create practice plans that promote individual skill and team progression.
- Develop game and practice plans including offensive and defensive systems as well as special teams play.
- Display team progression throughout hockey season.
- Analyze game film and conduct video review meetings with players.
- Identify and recruit players capable of playing Junior A hockey.
- Represent the Lloydminster Bobcats throughout the community including partnership with Minor and Elite hockey.
- Build relationships with community members and attend fundraising events.
- Be available as necessary to meet the demands of a Junior A hockey team.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the General Manager.
- Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the General Manager throughout the season.

Qualifications:

- Historical success as Coach at the Junior A Level or greater.
- Recruiting sources of Junior A caliber hockey players.
- Junior, Collegiate or Professional playing experience is preferred.
- Strong mentorship, leadership, disciplinary skills, and conflict management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop players in preparation for play at higher levels
- Coaching qualifications to coach Jr. A hockey (i.e. HP1)

**Salary**: $15.68-$42.78 per hour

- Lloydminster, SK S9V 0V3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
