Community Programs Manager

With programs focused on literacy and numeracy, proper nutrition, leadership, the nurturing of mental wellness, and other keys to future success; we are working with our partners to enrich the lives of thousands of children and their families in London and its surrounding counties.

Responsibilities include (but are not restricted to):

- Creation, development, implementation, and presentation of Family Literacy and Math Events
- Assist in the Special Olympics program, and the Blue Boxes for Books program
- Supervision of our HARK After School Programming
- Coordination of volunteers (including recruitment, screening, training, and scheduling)
- Preparing reports and collecting data for program funders
- Assisting other programs and staff members in the development and execution of the programs they are responsible for
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, specifically for Family Literacy and Math Events

Qualifications:

- Post secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education, or

Degree in Early Childhood Leadership, Education, or related experience
- Understanding of child development and literacy/numeracy acquisition
- Strong time management, organizational, and record keeping skills and capacities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional ability to work independently, consult appropriately, and work collaboratively with a team
- Advanced skills related to planning and priority setting
- Police screening for vulnerable sectors is required
- Vehicle is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5-37.5 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
