Since 1997, Covenant House Vancouver has provided essential and relentless support for youth experiencing, or at-risk of experiencing, homelessness. We provide support to youth ages 16 to 24 who have experienced a wide range of early life and ongoing, complex trauma including physical, sexual, emotional abuse, and neglect. Our purpose is to serve all youth with absolute respect and unconditional love, to help youth experiencing homelessness, and provide a safe and supportive environment for all youth in need.

**The Impact the Project Coordinator with the Technology & Innovation Team can make**:
The Project Coordinator will support the building and service expansion at Covenant House Vancouver by assisting our Associate Director of Technology and Innovation. With a focus on our current building renovation project and future technology innovation, the Project Coordinator will generate work that is consistent with agency processes, values, and timelines, ensuring that team and agency goals are met. The Project Coordinator will assist the Associate Director of Technology & Innovation with the management of a variety of projects including construction projects, renovations, information technology, and other projects as they arise. You will work across multiple departments and with internal and external stakeholders to help ensure the success of current and future projects at Covenant House Vancouver.

**How you will contribute**:

- Oversee aspects of the expansion project involving the renovation of our Gastown location in downtown Vancouver, including signage and furniture packages and the movement of staff and youth after completion.
- Update staff on project progress including newsletters and updating our expansion SharePoint page.
- Work closely with a team of consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure that the facilities are developed according to the project goals and visions.
- Assist with various projects and improvements to our buildings and technology to facilitate operations.
- Coordinate and be involved in meetings in relation to the expansion project with our external partners, including architects, designers, and other supports on the renovation project.
- Create clearly written, professional, and functional documents free of errors.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commitments, deadlines, and communications are kept on track.
- Work on large technology projects, including coordinating information from different departments, meeting with stakeholders, and working with external developers as needed.
- Works closely with our youth program team to ensure the spaces meet the current and future needs of the youth.

**Who are we looking for?**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum High School diploma
- Certificate or Diploma in Project Management considered an asset
- 1 year of work experience in a project management environment or department will be considered a strong asset***

- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with mínimal supervision
- A problem solver who can think outside the box to solve issues that may arise
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Tech savvy, not only knowing their way around SharePoint, Excel and Word, but also interested in new technology to improve our youth and staff experience
- Able to communicate ideas and synthesize information clearly and concisely across a wide variety of audiences
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving workplace and managing multiple competing deadlines
- Able to maintain professional boundaries with the Youth
