**Who Are We Looking For?**
This position requires an individual with comprehensive mechanical knowledge, impeccable attention to detail and a strong ability to negotiate. A successful Claims Adjuster will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Fluency in English (French is an asset, not required)
- Thorough automotive mechanical knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and outstanding communication qualities, both verbal and written
- Accountability and dependability, strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Capable decision-making skills and capacity for sound judgement
- Strong and tactful negotiation abilities
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, etc.); general competency with business technology
- Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor and/or experience in the aftermarket automotive industry (is an asset, not required)
**What Will You Do?**
The Claims Adjuster is responsible for adjudicating warranty claims by interacting with policyholders, repair garages, dealerships, and Territory Account Managers. This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, investigating, and authorizing claims in a manner that is consistent with Lubrico’s values and ensuring that policyholder coverage is interpreted fairly and consistently.
The Claims Adjuster will execute the applicable processes, complete all the required paperwork, and ensure due diligence is performed at every step of the claims process while being mindful of regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Responsible for adjudicating claims with excellent customer service
- Communicate respectfully, proactively and effectively with all stakeholders
- Analyze claims to determine applicable coverage
- Maintain professional automotive industry knowledge
- Keep up to date on all warranty coverage and department policies & procedures
- Monitor and observe dealership & repair garage performance, documenting all communications
- Review invoices and investigate received invoices that are inconsistent with authorized amounts
- Adhere to company policies & procedures, ensuring department standards are met
- Other general office duties as necessary and/or as assigned
**Other**:
- Hybrid/Remote in and around London, Ontario and area
- Rotating shift of 8 hours per day between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm (EST) Easter Standard Time
- Must have fast and reliable internet (Minimum of 50 Mbs)
- Must pass a background check to obtain potential licensing
- Salary: Based on experience and other relevant factors
