- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Recruit and hire staff.
- Analyze operating costs and other data.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants.
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
- Estimate food requirements and food and labor costs.
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory, Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions.
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets, Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
