**Job Overview**:
Westshore Marine is seeking a motivated and dedicated **Apprentice Service Technician** to join our team in Arborg, Manitoba. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience and develop your technical skills in the repair and maintenance of powersport vehicles, including ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and marine equipment. You will work closely with experienced technicians to ensure the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assist in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance**: Work under the supervision of a certified technician to diagnose and repair powersport vehicles, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other components.
- **Follow service protocols**: Adhere to established processes for maintenance and repair tasks, following technical manuals and service guidelines.
- **Perform routine maintenance**: Carry out scheduled services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- **Inspect and identify vehicle issues**: Conduct visual inspections and basic testing to identify mechanical or electrical issues.
- **Support the team**: Assist with parts ordering, tool maintenance, and shop cleanliness to ensure an efficient and organized workspace.
- **Maintain service records**: Accurately document completed repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- **Learn and develop skills**: Stay up-to-date with new powersport models, technologies, and repair techniques through training and mentorship.
- **Ensure safety compliance**: Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in powersports or automotive repair
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior technicians
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documenting service work
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
