A career as a Coordinator in the Corporate and Investment Banking group at National Bank, is to play an active role in aligning, developing, and deploying internal procedures, promote a culture of teamwork and have a direct impact on our clients.

**Your job**
- Provide administrative support to the Managing Director & Head, Global Energy Group and his team: complex calendar management, coordinate travel arrangements and business trips, process expense reports, organize internal/external meetings, arrange closing dinners and client events.
- Oversee training of new Administrative and Executive Assistants; elaborate integration plans, training sessions and participation of colleagues to encourage teamwork
- Streamline administrative workflows to increase efficiency
- Act as point of contact with vendors & external suppliers
- Coordinate projects and new initiatives that impact Calgary employees
- Provide support for philanthropic involvement including coordinating requests and approvals related to donations, sponsorships, and events; help with solicitation and deadline follow-ups.

**Your team**

This position is based in Calgary, more specifically within the Corporate and Investment Banking Group. You will report to the Director, Corporate Development & Business Management, Corporate and Investment Banking. You will oversee daily business operational functioning of the office of about 65 people and ensure efficiency and optimal workflows.

**Basic requirements**
- Professional College Diploma (DEC) and 6 to 7 years of experience OR a bachelor’s degree and 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proactive, teamwork and collaborative
- Leadership, interpersonal skills and client-focused
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, sense of initiative, and ability to adapt quickly
- Ability to work well under pressure and deal with urgent situations while meeting strict deadlines
