As a summer camp counselor, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and facilitate activities for children ages 4-10 years during their summer camp experience. The position is available from June 26th to September 1st. Start and end date can be slightly adjusted.

**Your duties will include**:

- Creating a safe and welcoming environment: You will need to ensure that all campers feel welcome, included, and safe while they are at camp.
- Leading activities: You will lead and facilitate various activities such as arts and crafts, sports, outdoor activities, and other activities that cater to the interests of the campers.
- Planning and organizing activities: You will need to work with the camp director and other counselors to plan and organize activities for the campers.
- Ensuring camper safety: You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of campers at all times. You must follow all safety procedures and protocols set forth by the camp.
- Monitoring camper behavior: You will be responsible for monitoring camper behavior and addressing any inappropriate behavior or conflicts that arise.
- Communicating with parents: You will need to communicate with parents about their children’s experiences at camp and address any concerns or issues that arise.
- Providing emotional support: You will need to provide emotional support to campers who may be experiencing homesickness, anxiety, or other issues while at camp.
- Being a role model: You will need to be a positive role model for campers, demonstrating good behavior, responsibility, and leadership.
- Performing other duties as assigned: You may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by the camp director or other senior staff.
