Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, including muffins, cakes, cookies and squares
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Clean and sanitize work area and equipment regularly
- Take and fill orders for walk up customers at the window including preparing smoothies, coffees and other food items.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a baker in a restaurant or catering setting
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with commercial baking equipment and tools
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adjust ingredients as needed
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Creativity in decorating baked goods
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Must speak fluent english
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
- Must have a valid food handler's certificate (or be able to get prior to starting)
