**About the Role**

If so, consider joining Armor Wood’s Production department as a General Labourer - **this is an **entry-level **position with room for advancement** The role is responsible for transforming raw lumber into treated wood materials commonly used for outdoor projects such as decks, fencing, gardens, and edging. Responsibilities include:

- Operating a forklift and assisting with loading, unloading, and lifting lumber products and timbers
- Working within the production line team to process and complete customer orders by the deadline
- Assist with the lumber chemical treating process
- Complete daily task assignments on time with a safety-first attitude

**Work Schedule**

**40 hours per week. **This role operates **Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM** with a half-hour unpaid for lunch. Extra hours are available at a shift premium rate.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous forklift training and/or certification is an asset, but not required.
- **Must have your own vehicle to get to and from work.** Our building is not located on public transit routes.
- Ability to successfully pass a fit test including **lifting up to 50 pounds** is required.
- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**: Must wear a pair of CSA Approved Safety (steel toed) boots, work gloves, and hearing protection.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
