Welding Planner

This position offers a **hybrid **work arrangement.
The salary range for this position is **$80,000 - $90,000.**
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Schedule and plan welding shop operations.
- Prepare an efficient Contract Master Schedule and maintain knowledge of all key project milestones.
- Prepare and Administer project from conceptualization to implementation and evaluate all issues.
- Assist the Welding General Supervisor & Welding Shift Supervisors in prioritizing and scheduling daily activities.
- Draft a timeline for each work order and customer.
- Ensure compliance to schedule and manage all project deliverables and recommend increase in workforce if required.
- Evaluate all fabrication site and vendor schedule and ensure adherence to contract master schedule.
- Assist to identify and resolve all issues in normal operations and manage all communication for all schedule disruption.
- Analyze project timelines for efficiency and create status reports for upper management.
- Ensure welding equipment and tooling is in good repair and maintained as per maintenance schedule and coordinate repairs with supervisors and vendors.
**Qualifications**:
- A good understanding of heavy welding and fabrication of mining equipment is a strong asset.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Welding and Inspection experience is an asset.
