**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Senior Program Support Analyst, this position is responsible for supporting Employment and Social Services Division’s projects and initiatives.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the planning and coordination of Employment Services and Social Services projects, including but not limited to collecting and analyzing data as well as writing reports and business cases
- Support the implementation of Regional and Ministry-driven change initiatives in collaboration with staff across the corporation, Ministry staff, community partners and other key stakeholders, including but not limited to Social Assistance Modernization projects and Employment Services Transformation
- Support the work of the Halton Newcomer Strategy Steering Committee and Action Groups
- Support the implementation of technology solutions
- Gather and analyze program outcomes and performance measures as well as information trends, issues gaps and statistics for program planning and reporting purposes.
- Conduct, review and analyze information/data obtained from jurisdictional scans and research
- Support goals identified on the Division’s Operational Plan and the Division’s priorities outlined in Corporate Strategic Plan
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Diploma or degree in the field of Social Sciences, Humanities or Business
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

**Preferred**
- Experience with project management, conducting research and analyzing data

- Travel will be required within Halton Region; the incumbent must provide their own transportation.
