**Linux System Administrator and Hardware Technician**

Job Description**:Linux and Administrator**
- Provide system administration in such areas as server builds, operating system upgrades, capacity planning, performance tuning, resource optimization and monitoring
- Provide storage administration with online, offline of interactive kiosks, software and robots
- Provide backup administration for backups, restarts and restores
- Analyzing work environments to ensure optimum utilization of data processing resources
- Onboarding and off-boarding of employees hardware and access
- Management of secure network including external access
- Creating and/or updating documentation and participating in a change control process to ensure all systems and configurations are well documented and IT practices are followed
- Providing assistance in resolving network and systems operational problems with company team and end clients
- Providing assistance in resolving network and systems operational problems
- Installation of the Linux (Ubuntu) operating systems to interactive kiosks and robots
- Installation, support and management of BM3 suite o/s software on kiosks and online
- Summery: Featuring software digital signage, web apps, clone apps, launching apps on kiosks local offline and online
- Digital Ocean, VS/VM, OVH and AWS

**Hardware Technician**:

- Hardware and software configurations interactive kiosks and robots
- Building Interactive kiosks, computers and robotics
- Working with our manufacturing department to build out prototype and interactive kiosks indoor and outdoor
- Selection and purchase of new equipment and maintenance of existing equipment aimed at maximizing useful life
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills with internal/external clients and vendors (a plus)
- Ability to present technical concepts and ideas to non-technical staff and management with understandable and concise communications
- Genuinely care about people and providing strong member experience
- Inherently demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality, a high level of integrity, and be trustworthy
- Enjoy a challenge when it comes to technical issues and be resourceful in the way you find a solution; be naturally innovative and forward thinking
- Be analytical and overly detailed oriented when dealing with technical support issues and IT projects
- Preparation, monitoring and reporting on Technology program budget, new builds, providing recommendations for the budget regarding computer, kiosks, robots equipment and systems for a department.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Summery: Building Interactive kiosks indoor and outdoor. Working with robotics repairs and upgrading parts and components
- Intergration with Docker - admin and server setup to execution

**Your Skills**:

- Working experience with network security products, protocols, and technologies including Firewalls, VPN, VLANs, Network Access Control, IDP/IDS, and Secured File Transfer in an enterprise environment
- Public Cloud experience
- Web Server experience
- DNS
- Linux systems
- VMware and Veeam
- Ubuntu
- Docker
- Gitlab
- Understanding software languages

**Bonus Skills**:

- Solid Web Infrastructure background supporting MySQL, Apache2, NodeJS, React, Angular CLI, Mongodb,
- Programming HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, and other web technologies

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
