**Position Responsibilities**
- The School of Trades and Technology is looking for 1 Sessional Instrumentation and Control Technician Instructor for the 2024/2025 academic year to teach and develop curriculum in the Instrumentation and Control Technician Apprenticeship program.Start date position: August 13, 2024**Job Duties will include**:

- Maintain, develop and instruct the theory and shop components of the Alberta Instrumentation and Control Technician Apprenticeship program
- Ongoing planning and curriculum review
- Participate in school, program, and other polytechnic service committees Program promotion and student recruitment

**Required Qualifications**
- Alberta Journeyman Certificate as Instrumentation and Control Technician
- Inter-provincial Red Seal Certificate
- Minimum 5 years post-Journeyman work experience
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Aptitude for mentoring and coaching others
- Comfortable with public speaking, and able to convey course topics to diverse students and learning styles

**Preferred Qualifications**- Experience teaching post-secondary learners through both in-person and online formats
- Journeyman certification in one or more additional related trades
- Management or leadership experience.
