**What is an E-Commerce Marketing Specialist at Distex?**
This multifunctional position has two components, namely the coordination of online sales and digital marketing. The E-Commerce Marketing Specialist will have the following tasks to perform:
- Participate in the development of digital communication, strategies and content with the marketing team.
- Analyze the performance of websites, web campaigns and newsletters through Google Analytics, and provide recommendations to increase performance.
- Optimize the content of the company’s websites for natural referencing (SEO).
- Create and write descriptions of product listings and visual content for the various company websites, while following the branding guidelines.
- Manage the online shop (updates, order processing and shipping).
- Provide support to the sales team through marketing actions to enhance sales through our digital platforms.
- Write and schedule content for our monthly newsletters.
- Follow up on deadlines and the quality of deliverables.
- Work closely with various parties involved, including members of the marketing and sales team.
- Follow the competition and latest trends in e-commerce.
- Perform all other tasks related to this position.
**Required skills**
- Bilingual (French/English mandatory)
- College Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in Marketing
- You are highly organized, are autonomous and can handle many projects at once.
- You have experience in website analysis and SEO implementation, as well as being proficient with the WordPress platform.
- Asset: HTML Programming, Google Analytics certification and/or any other online advertising certification (AdWords, Facebook Blueprint, etc.)
