**Required skills & Qualifications**:
- Must hold a valid Security Guard license issued by the Private Securities & Investigative Services Act.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, including up and down stairs.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of common security policies and various related Acts, Codes, WHMIS.
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills; including conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making, situational assessment and communication skills.
- Parking enforcement, if required.
- Previous security/concierge experience preferred.
- Available to work overnights.
- Vehicle is considered an asset.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Be visible to public as they enter the premises.
- Acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store.
- Strong interpersonal communication; good command of English language.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors and visitors of client's property.
- Perform routine property patrols and respond to Fire alarms.
- Detect, challenge and displace unwanted people.
- Promote safety and adhere to client site emergency procedures.
- Recording and maintaining log books of daily activities.
- Follow up with daily documentation in your memo book; inputting notes and incident reports as required.
