**1 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑ Operator**
**Medical Device Reprocessing Department**
**It is a condition of this posting that your home unit can accommodate your temporary absence in the event**
**you are successful.**
This position will involve working the day, evening, night, weekend shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a
guarantee.
Under the general direction of the Manager ‑ MDRD, the MDRD Operator cleans, maintains, wraps sterilizes and
distributes medical equipment.
Qualifications:
- Secondary School Graduation Diploma.
- Must be currently certified with Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario (MDRAO).
- Recertification with (CSAO) every five (5) years is required.
- Must be trained and competent in the core functions of MDR.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, particularly in the operative area, with evidence of training in
asepsis or sterile technique.
- Working knowledge of O.R. instrumentation.
- Knowledge and skill of sterilization technique according to standards for Vaporized Peroxide and Steam.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a fast paced team environment.
- Proven track record of compliance with the Code of Conduct.
Salary Range: $26.307 to 26.726
